So what's that next best thing to give your dog as a cool treat? Doggie "ice cream" - that can even be shared with you! (And it's vegan). Here's the recipe:
Strawberry Banana Delight:
Serving: 3-6 servings (for small - large dogs)
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1/3 cup of strawberries
(Optional: a splash of coconut milk)
Directions:
Cut banana and strawberries into small slices.
Blend contents in a food processor or blender until smooth.
Put in the freezer in an airtight container for at least 1 hour.
Serve: Place one small scoop of this treat into your dog's bowl.
